The Collegiate Church of Corpus Christi
Jarosław
The building dates from the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, was rebuilt and expanded in the 19th century. The Gruszewiczes were a family of Jarosław pharmacists. The most valuable interior in the Gruszewiczes tenement is the Great Chamber, where there is a precious polychrome from the 17th century. It shows eight passion scenes with a length of 12 m. It constitutes a rare example of sacred decoration in a private, secular room. Currently, the Great Chamber houses the Wedding Room.
Under the building, there is a route of the Underground Tourist Passage
in Jarosław.
